The death has taken place of
Kathleen Maher (née Coady)
Aclare, Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny and formerly Drummond, Co. Carlow.
Kathleen passed away suddenly at home on the 4th of January 2025.
Very sadly missed by her loving husband John, her sons (Fr.) Seán and Thomas, her brother John, sisters Mary and Brigid, sisters in law, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and her friends.
Reposing in Walsh’s Funeral Home, Graiguenamanagh (R95 D853) from 2pm on Sunday 5th of January,concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Monday 6th of January at 10.45am to arrive at Duiske Abbey, Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny for 11am Requiem Mass.
Burial will follow Funeral Mass in Calvary cemetery.
In the current weather conditions, Kathleen’s family would like to urge friends and family not to take any risks travelling to the funeral
and to be safe above all.

The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) McCabe, Ballasport Hill of Down, Enfield, Co. Meath and formerly of Cadamstown, Broadford, Co. Kildare, peacefully at the Regional Hospital Mullingar January 9th 2025. Loving husband of Marie and adored dad of David, Sandra, Darren and Jennifer, grandfather of Ben, Ava, Luke and Georgia. Deeply regretted by his brother Ger, sister Ann, son in law Ollie, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Mick will be reposing at Murty O Neill and Sons Funeral Home, Johnstown Bridge (A83 CD39) on Sunday from 3pm concluding with rosary at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Broadford (W91 EW61) followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
