The death has occurred of Carmel Mooney (née Barry) Boyneview, Ballycowan, Clonard, Enfield, Co. Kildare and formerly of Alexanderaide, Navan, Co. Meath. Carmel passed away peacefully at St. James’ Hospital on March 3rd 2024, surrounded by her devoted family, following a short illness fought with the greatest dignity, strength and bravery.

Beloved wife and best friend of Noel for the past 54 years. Adored mother to Thelma (Fox) Kinnegad, Noelle (Wallace) Multyfarnham and Maurice, cherished grandmother to Aoife, Jamie, Paddy, Meadhbh, Katie, MJ and Mattie and doting great-grandmother to Caoimhe. Deeply regretted by her brother Frano (Navan) sisters Bridie Young (UK), Maud Samson (UK) and Margaret Boland (Kells). Predeceased by her parents Richard and Mary, brothers Richie and Paddy and sister Josephine, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law. Will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her extended family, daughter-in-law Donna, sons-in-law James and Pat, gandson-in-law to Odhran, nieces, nephews, close neighbours and her large circle of friends.

Reposing at her family home Eircode A83 KP80, on Tuesday, 5th March, from 3pm, with rosary at 8pm. Funeral mass on Wednesday, 6th March, in St. Brigid’s Church, Clogharinka, Broadford, Co. Kildare, Eircode W91 HK33, at 12noon. Burial afterwards in Broadford cemetery.
